Geraldine A. Kyriaco Obituary (Age 83) Geraldine, Geri as she was known to her family and friends was born in Hollywood, CA to Albert and Elanor Hazan on April 7, 1930. Geri grew up in Long Beach, CA. After graduating from Long Beach City College she moved to Santa Barbara, CA where she met her husband Andy. Together they raised their sons Jim and Mark. Geri loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Her other passion was tennis and regularly won single and double tournaments at the local club. In 2009 Geri and Andy moved to Spokane with her son Mark. Geri was loved by all whose lives she touched and will be greatly missed as she rejoins her husband and our creator. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, and was a former member of the Santa Barbara Tennis Club. She also volunteered at Santa Barbara County General Hospital. Geri was preceded in death by her husband Andrew D. Kyriaco. She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law Jim and Joni Kyriaco of Lake Havasu, AZ and Mark Kyriaco of Spokane; brother Albert Hazan Jr.; grandchildren: James Jr. and Angie Kyriaco of Santa Barbara, C, Jonathan and Marissa Kyriaco of Bonners Ferry, ID, Theresa and Asa Manchan of Spokane, WA and her great-grandson Dexter Kyriaco. A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1703 N. Washington Street, Spokane WA 99205 at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
