Glenna Mae Hunt Obituary (Age 71) Glenna fell asleep in the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on October 7, 2009. She was born May 18, 1938 as the seventh child to Earl Edward and Helen Louise Mullenix. She married a floor guard and her skating partner from Pattison's Rollercade, William James Hunt on January 29, 1956. They had two children, a son Robert and a daughter Bonnie. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked at several jobs during her life, including J.C. Penny's, Deaconess Hospital, Inland Meats, and she spent many years working in Dietary Management at Maplewood Gardens. Glenna was a former member of St. Nicholas Orthodox and a current member of Christ the Savior Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church. Glenna was preceded in death by her mother Helen, father Earl, brothers Edward and Robert, husband William, and grandson Robert Earl. She is survived by her sisters Erline Bourcy, Betty Gallagher, Judy Little, and Mary Manum; brothers John and Larry Mullenix; children Robert Hunt (Rhonda) and Bonnie Akins (Jim); grandchildren Russell Akins (Dianna), Alisha Hunt, Anthony Akins (Brenda), and William Hunt (Andi); great-grandchildren Mekhi, and Lexi Akins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, October 12 from 10:00 - 4:00 PM at Heritage, with a Rosary following at 4:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 13 at 10:00 AM at Heritage Chapel. Donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane and Christ the Savior Church.
