Gloria Kelley Obituary (Age 93) Gloria Vivian Cloud LaTendresse Caryl Kelley died peacefully July 26, 2015, at 93 years of age. Born in Yakima, WA to William Hickman MacLeod and Edna Rogers on January 23, 1922, she graduated from Northwest Nazarene Academy June 3, 1940 and acquired degrees at post-secondary schools over the years. She moved to Spokane, WA in the late 1940s. Gloria worked at multiple occupations, including nursing, gerontology and occupational/recreational therapy in the Spokane area nursing homes. She created a charity for Paraplegic and Quadriplegic people and donated land to build housing for them. Gloria belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed traveling with family, doing woodwork with Donald in his shop, and singing. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, her brother Dean Cloud, youngest son Gregory LaTendresse and grandson Marcus LaTendresse. She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Kelley; three of her children, Gabe Cyr, Robert LaTendresse (Dale), and Chantelle New (Al); six stepchildren, Maureen O?Melveny, Robert Kelley (Veronica), Thomas Kelley (Toni), Katherine Keller (Dennis), Nicholas Kelley (Renee), and Rebecca Seaman (Jack). There are 12 surviving grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; 17 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren. The Memorial Mass will be Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 219 E Rockwood Blvd. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to agencies or facilities caring for the elderly in honor of Gloria Kelley or to a charitable organization of your choice.
