Gordon Henry Manser Obituary Born June l3, l928 to Henry and Ottilie Manser in Clintonville, Wisconsin. Moved to Spokane at the age of 8. Gordon graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in l946. After graduation he went to work for Pacific Tel & Tel. He met his future wife Adeline in l948 and they were married in 1950. He worked in Spokane until l967 when he was transferred to Lewiston. He returned to Spokane in l980 and retired in l990 after 43 years of service with the Telephone Co. Gordon is survived by his wife Adeline and daughter Karen Manser, his sister-in-law Regina Manser, a niece, Linda Zucht, and nephews Jeff and Steve Saad and Jim, Tom and Lyle Hemingway. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jean Hemingway, sister Joyce Saad and brother Lyle. Gordon was an active member of Lilac City Telecom Pioneers and a long-time member of St. Marks Lutheran Church. Services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday September 15, 2018 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th Ave., Spokane, WA 99203.
