Grace R. (Barnes) Waymire Obituary (Age 97) Grace was born November 25, 1917 in Tyler, WA to Mark and Clara Peasley. She passed away March 5, 2015. She is preceded in death by her first husband John C. Barnes, sons Donald J. Barnes and Lester E. Barnes. She also lost all three of her sisters, Leona, Marie and Elsie, along with second husband Willis Waymire. Grace is survived by her daughters Joyce Roadarmel of Denver, CO and Patricia (Stephen) Tregellas of Spokane, and daughter-in-law Dede Barnes of Seattle. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren; Chris, Casey, Kelly, Nathan, DJ, Teri, Marlena, Cynthia, David, Phillip, Brandi, Kristi, Brian, Holly and Brandon, 18 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, three nieces, nine nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Grace was a wonderful homemaker, excelling in cooking and baking. She enjoyed sewing for her children and grandchildren, and also loved to quilt and crochet. Grace was employed at Rosauers in the bakery for many years before meeting Willis Waymire. She was a member of Good Sam's RV Club and Fertile Valley Grange where she enjoyed competing in sewing and crafting competitions. She lived her 97 years in Washington State but traveled throughout all of the US and Canada. She will be missed and loved forever by her family and friends. Viewing will be held Saturday, March 14th from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 16th at 11:00 am at Heritage Chapel. The family would like to give a special thank you to Faith Adult Family home and Hospice of Spokane for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Mother. Memorial contributions may be sent to either one of these places.
