Harold H. "Bud" Herrington Obituary (Age 88) Born Nov. 4 1925 in St. Marie's, Idaho to Ralph and Velma (Nevins) Herrington, passed away on Oct. 24, 2014 at Spokane Veterans Hospice Wing. At the age of 17 Bud's family moved from the farm in St. Marie's to Spokane. Bud served in the Army Air Corp/Air Force from September 1945 to May of 1947. In May 1947 Bud enlisted and served in the Navy Reserves until June 1952. Bud's love of dancing is what brought Maria into his life. They shared 24 years together. Bud was a regular volunteer at "a Day Out With The Blind" where he danced with and assisted the visually impaired. Bud is survived by his wife Maria; two sons Arlen (Linda), Benton City, WA and Brad (Elke), Boise, Idaho; his daughter Susan Taylor, Medical Lake, WA; one sister, Nancy, Rohnert Park, CA; brothers David, Seattle and Bill, Boise, ID; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-children; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Spokane Veterans Hospice Wing for their excellent care and assistance. The family will be having a Celebration of Life Service Monday, November 3, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
