Hattie E. Bethel Obituary Hattie passed away July 18, 2009. She was born February 10, 1918 in Bellingham, WA to William and Ella Zobrist. Hattie earned her nursing degree from Swedish Hospital in Seattle and worked many years as a RN at Deaconess Hospital. In 1943 she married Robert N. Bethel and had two children. Survived by sons Robert N. Bethel Jr. and William Michael Bethel; 4 grandchildren Dawn (Jeff) Aman, David Bethel, Shelby Bethel, Alene Bethel and one great-grand child Alexa Aman. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 3:00PM at Liberty Park United Methodist Church, 1526 E. 11th Ave., Spokane, WA.
