Hazel Mae Gehrke Obituary (Age 91) Entered into rest on February 15, 2013 in Spokane Valley, WA. She was born on June 2, 1921 in Whitefish, MT. Hazel was a woman who lived through extremely turbulent times in places where life and a living was hard earned. She was married to Philip Pitts and they had two children. She later married Raymond Gehrke. Hazel is survived by her daughter, Margaret Greenburg; son-in-law, Herb Greenburg; son, Lawrence Pitts; daughter-in-law, Alane Andreozzi; three grandsons, Sam Neil, Kurt Neil and Courey Pitts; five great-grandchildren, Kurshell Neil, Austin Neil, Dylan Neil, Kyle Neil and Harley Pitts. Hazel's last years were spent enjoying life living in an assisted living facility, working in their general store, going on shopping trips, playing games, and her Wii Bowling League. Visitation will be from 12 PM to 5 PM on Tuesday. Funeral Service 11 AM on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Heritage Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spokane Valley Meals On Wheels.
