Helen Anne Saban

May 12, 1939 - February 25, 2017

Helen Anne Saban Obituary Helen Anne Saban, 77, left this earth to join her beloved husband James W. Saban in Heaven, on February 25, 2017 peacefully from her home in Airway Heights, Wa. This was after battling and surviving cancer two times, as strong willed and determined she had always refused to give up in any situation. Helen was born May 12, 1939 in White Earth, North Dakota to the late Patrick and Marion (Newmann) Reynolds. After high school she had a brief marriage with Benjamin Haider, whom she would have three boys, Jody, Dennis, and David Haider. Ben joined the Air Force, which meant never being able to completely unpack in between each house. Fearing all the moving might somehow have a long term effect on their boys, Helen and Ben divorced and she moved back to Montana in 1968. There she met the love of her life, James (Jim) Saban. They married August 6, 196,9 then later moved to Frenchtown, MT. Helen then became the owner and operator of a Rent-To-Own store she established in Missoula, MT. She lived and breathed that store for the next 25 to 28 years. In 2004 Jim was diagnosed with cancer and in 2005 after accepting that Jim wasn't going to win his battle, Helen started making plans to sell the store and her properties and move to Washington. Jim passed away July 19, 2006 and by Christmas of '06 Helen was starting a new chapter of her life (and last) in Airway Heights, WA. Helen is survived by her sons, Joe of Idaho, Dennis (Sheleigh), Anthony Arnett (Joan) and David (Cari) Haider, both of Airway Heights WA; grandchildren, Heather, Erika, LueRonica, Alex, Alicia, Traci, Austin, Daniel, Audrey, Ella and Dakota; great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Mary Jo (Stan) Rasmussen, Mickey Lehman, and Theresa Reynolds; brother Earl, and her lifetime friend Sylvia.
