Helen M. Warner Obituary (Age 87) Passed away February 17, 2011. She was born in Spokane September 19, 1923 to Edward O. and Mary Johnson. She graduated from West Valley High School in 1941 and graduated from Eastern Washington College in 1947 with a degree in Education. She served in the WAVES during WWII. Helen taught in Toppenish, WA and later in Quincy High School, Quincy, WA. After retiring she resided in Florence, AZ for many years, returning to Spokane in 2001. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Service Org. and the WA State Teacher's Assoc. Helen is survived by nephews Mark (Mae) Johnson and Scott (Jolene) Johnson; niece Leslie (Rick) Huff all of Spokane; sister-in-law Wanda Johnson, Spokane and numerous great nieces and great nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her brother Ray E. Johnson in 1997. A family service will be held at a later date.
