Henrietta Brett Obituary (Age 85) Passed away September 8, 2014. Henrietta was born on the family farm in Walsh County, North Dakota on February 5, 1929 to Peter and Cecelia Bina. She graduated from Park River High School in Park River, North Dakota. Henrietta married Douglas Brett in 1947 and their son Wayne was born in 1948. The family moved to Spokane in 1953. Henrietta, Doug, and Wayne were active with the Boy Scouts for many years and enjoyed camping and traveling. Doug and Henrietta were long time members of the Northwest Treasure Hunters Club and Henrietta was also a member of the Woman?s Club of Spokane. Henrietta was a fierce poker player at the family gatherings and enjoyed playing pranks on her nieces and nephews. Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Doug, son Wayne, and sisters Margaret and Edith. She is survived by sister Betty and brothers Stanley, Peter, Ted and Laddie. A Memorial service will be held September 20, 2014 at 11:00am at Fowler United Methodist Church, 3928 N. Howard St., Spokane, WA 99205. In lieu of flowers, please direct any memorial contributions to Fowler United Methodist Church.
