Henry Dias Obituary (Age 86) Henry Hank Dias passed away November 26, 2017 at his home in Nine Mile Falls. He was born July 21, 1931 in Oakland, CA to Henry Dias and Mary Sizuela. Hank was a member of the Air Force Reserve. He married the love of his life, Donna, on March 24, 1951. He was an electrician apprentice in 1950. His career and hard work led him to the presidency of Contra Costa Electric in 1963; he retired in 1995. During retirement, he became a retail/commercial/residential developer. His favorite job, hobby, and past time was spending time with his family, which he cherished and loved beyond measure. We will never see his equal and will never forget him. Hank was a member of the Catholic faith, board member of the San Jose State Universtiy electrical construction educational curriculum, board member of the University of California Hospital, and President and governor of NECA (National Electrical Contractor Association). Hank is survived by his wife, Donna; his son, Michael (Jeanine) Dias; his daughter, Laurie Dias; his sisters, Delores and Margie; his brother, Ron; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, David and his brother, Al. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 2:30pm in the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park at 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
