Herbert F. "Herb" Bliesner Obituary (Age 101) Passed away March 6, 2015 at Good Samaritan Spokane Valley just missing his 102nd birthday on May 21st. Herb was born in Waverly, WA and graduated from Fairfield High School. He married the love of his life Gladys M. Mooers of Deer Park on March 15, 1941, she passed in 2002. They moved to Spokane and raised eight children: Gene Mooers of Ohio (who preceded him in death), Marjorie Rakentine of Otis Orchards, WA, Barbara Delay of Post Falls, ID, Carol (Joe) Smith of Everett, WA, Janis (Don) Leach of Spokane, Lois McKinney of Springdale, WA, Donald (Joan) Bliesner of Spokane Valley and Betty (Gary) Brusseau of Spokane; also survived by 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Herb was retired from Kaiser Trentwood. He will be missed by all. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday at Heritage and a Funeral Service 1:00PM Saturday March 21, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
