Herman James Marshall Obituary Herman James Marshall, Jr. departed this life on January 2, 2015, at the age of 68 years old, surrounded by his wife, Jessie Marshall, family and friends. He was born on August 4, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio. Herman moved to Spokane at a young age, attended and graduated from Eastern Washington University, where he received his degree in education. He was employed with Spokane School District 81 for 38 years, and was better known to students at North Central High School as �Mr. Marshall,� where he taught for 34 years. During his tenure with Spokane School District he also coached football, basketball and softball. Herman was interested in most sports, but spent much of his time following and discussing football and basketball stats. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2015, 11:00 am, at Full Gospel Mission for All Nations, located at 1912 E. First St. Spokane, WA. Viewing will take place at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, January 7, 2015, from 10:00-5:00, and on Friday, January 8, 2015 from 9:00 � 5:00. � To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Herman, please visit our Tree Store.
