Hilda C. Giese Obituary (Age 89) Passed away February 9, 2010 in Spokane, WA. She was born October 5, 1920 in Irvine, Alberta, Canada to John J. Fromm and Hilda W. Heim. Hilda and her parents moved to Lacey, WA when she was very young. Her brothers and sister were born in the states. After Hilda got out of school she worked for Boeing and was very proud to be ?Rosie the Riveter?. She loved to have her family and friends with her all the time. Hilda lived in Colfax, WA for 40 years then moved to Spokane in 1995 where she stayed for the remainder of her life. She is preceded in death by her husbands Harold Folsom and Walden Giese, Parents and two brothers John and Alex. Hilda is survived by her children Mike Burke of Austin, TX; Leah (Folsom) and husband Bill Orr of Spokane, WA; Barry and wife Liz Folsom of Colfax, WA (snowbirds in Mesa, AZ); Leslie (Burke) and husband John Michler of Spokane, WA; Kevin and wife Wendy Folsom of Nine Mile Falls, WA; Duane and wife Kim Folsom of Spokane, WA; Walden?s daughters Mary and Marcia; also sister Dorothy and husband Art Heim; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
