Ivan L. White Obituary (Age 88) Ivan was born on August 29, 1926 in Parma, ID to Ivan and Leila White. He passed away in Spokane, WA on February 23, 2015. During World War II, Ivan was stationed at Adak in the Aleutian Islands and Pasco, WA with the Naval Air Corps. On July 26, 1975, he married Elizabeth Potts at Holy Trinity Church. In his younger years, he loved flying, boating, and driving his 72? Olds Convertible. He had a large collection of model cars and was in the car business for 42 years, serving in various capacities from sales to management. Ivan was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Spokane, WA, serving on the Parish Council for over 16 years. He was also the Director of Purchasing and Maintenance during that time as well. He was known for his ability to cut the best possible deal in whatever purchases he made on the church's behalf. Surviving him in death is his spouse, Elizabeth of Spokane, WA; son Ryan (Karen) White of Gig Harbor, WA; step-sons Jeffrey (Lisa) Potts of Everett, WA and Timothy Potts of Spokane, WA; sisters RoseMary (Jim) Brinkman of Portland, OR and Nancy (Jack) Offerson of Waitsburg, WA. Ivan is preceded in death by his son Kevin White, stepson Kevin Potts, mother Leila White, father Ivan White, and sisters Iris Estes and Sharon Spiess. A time of visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 10 am to 5 pm. A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 1703 N.
