Ivan M. Brown Obituary (Age 85) Ivan passed away on October 28, 2016 in Spokane. He was born in Mitchell, IN on July 17, 1931 to Audrey and Sarah Brown. Ivan was a country boy that grew up in Southern Indiana. At the age of 16 he joined the United States Air Force, and served his country up until his retirement in 1967. In 1957 Ivan married Pauline Jmieff of Grand Forks, B.C. Ivans career in the Air Force brought Pauline and himself to Spokane where they decided to stay upon his retirement and raise their 4 children. Ivan was a long time member of the El Katif. Ivan was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, and his children Richard and Kenneth. He is survived by his son Donald, daughter Susan, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
