After Jack and Wanda both retired, they spent many years traveling in their R.V. all over the United States and became snowbirds traveling down to California and Arizona every year in the winter months. Jack was very involved in community service. He volunteered with the Elk's, Shriner's and Mason's Clubs and was President of the Valley Lions Club. Jack and Wanda both enjoyed traveling, golfing, boating, and spending time with family at their Pend Oreille Lake home. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, father John McHugo, mother Lexie McHugo and his brother Donald McHugo. Jack is survived by his sons Douglas (wife Michele) and David (wife Sharon and grandson Eric), his sister Marge (husband John Sargent and their children), and has many nieces and nephews. There was a private interment at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. A special thank you goes from the family to Horizon Hospice and the staff at Pine Ridge Alzheimer's Care.
