Jack Higgins Obituary Jack Higgins went to be with Jesus on September 3rd, 2010. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, September 8th at 1:00 in the afternoon at Life Center on Government Way in Spokane, WA. Jack was born June 30, 1944 to Jack and Fern Higgins in Los Angeles, California. He married Kathy in November 1972 in Five Rivers, Oregon. He was a devoted father to Shannon Lawrence Ruthy Allen, Becca Moore and Rachael Poetzl. Brother to Tom and Linda Johnson and beloved uncle to all of their sweet family. He was grandfather to 12 beautiful children who adored their Papa Jack. He is preceded in death by his father Jack Higgins Sr., mother Fern Griffin and niece Lori Johnson. He will also be missed by his sons-in law; Tom Lawrence, Jeff Allen, Bobby Moore and Jacob Poetzl, along with all of the spiritual children. Jack gave his life to Jesus in 1971, marking the beginning of a new life. Jack was a pastor for over 30 years, pioneering and pastoring churches in Oregon and Montana. His passion was to see people come to the hope and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The lives he touched along his path are too numerous to count; he will be greatly missed. He precedes his many friends and family into the arms of Jesus. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Life Center North Building Fund, 202 E. Lyons, Spokane, WA 99208
