Jack Lee "J.B." Brown Obituary (Age 68) J.B. Passed away on June 24, 2017 in Spokane. He was born in Youngstown, OH to Charles and Margaret Brown on March 12, 1949. J.B. was married to Carma Brown for 21 years. They were married at the Spokane Christian Center here in Spokane. He had resided in Ohio, Alaska and Washington during his lifetime. J.B worked as a Master Jeweler and he spent many years working in the H.V.A.C. industry. His hobbies included computers, R.V. traveling across the country and photography. J.B. was in the United States Army from December 29, 1966 to April 1, 1977, serving in both Vietnam and Korea. He was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant and Construction Equipment Operator. He received the National Defense Service Medal, 2 Good Conduct Medals, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, as well as the Korea and Republic of Vietnam campaign medals. He was a long-time member of the Spokane Christian Center. He is survived by his wife Carma Marie Brown of Spokane, his sister Jo McDevitt and brother-in-law George McDevitt of Palestine, OH, daughter: Traci Shannon Brown Higbee and son-in-law Billie Higbee of Petaluma, CA, sons: Shawn Lewis Brown of Spokane and John Wayde Snell and daughter-in-law Monika Lucia Coronado-Snell of Colorado Springs, CO. Visitation will Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 10:00AM to 8:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224. Carma will be available after 4:00PM. A Graveside Service will be held at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd, Medical Lake WA 99022 at 9:45AM on Friday, June 30, 2017. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30AM at the Spokane Christian Center, 8909 E Bigelow Gulch Rd, Spokane, WA 99217. There will be a reception following the Memorial Service at the Farm House located at 8409 E Bigelow Gulch Rd, Spokane WA 99217.
