James Harold Dixon, Jr. Obituary (Age 50) James Harold Dixon Jr. passed away July 2, 2011 in Spokane. He was the oldest son of Retha and James Dixon, born April 26, 1961 in Henderson Kentucky. James attended Edison Elementary and Lincoln Height Elementary, Libby Junior High and Ferris High schools in Spokane. He moved to Santa Clara, CA in his senior year and graduated from Cupertino High School. James joined the Army where he served as a Marksman during the Granada Invasion. After leaving the service James lived in San Jose, CA where he worked as a Data Storage Supervisor for many years. James met and married Portia Dixon and they had a son, James Harold Dixon III. Later in his life James had a loving relationship with Liza Nunn and they had a son together, Johnisson Nunn. James met Nancy Beam over nine years ago and they were to be married this year. James was a person who held family and friends above all else and his two sons, James Harrold Dixon III (Little James) and Johnisson Nunn (JOJO) were the light of his life. He was a big time Dallas Cowboys fan and it didn't matter if they were winning or losing. James is preceded in death by his mother Retha Miller. He is survived by his sons, James H. Dixon III and Johnisson Nunn; Father, James H. Dixon; Stepmother, Pat Dixon; Fiance, Nancy Beam; Brother, Gordon Dixon; Sisters, Christia Thompson and Kimberly Holloway; Brothers-In Law; Roy Thompson and Brian Holloway; Sister-In Law; Ruby Dixon. James had one Grandson; Kevin Dixon; four nieces, two nephews and several cousins. Visitation will be held at 8:00 PM, Friday, July 8, at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 9 with Pastor Happy Watkins officiating also at Heritage Funeral Home.
