James Pavlish Obituary (Age 78) Jim passed away on April 26, 2015. He was born on July 9, 1936 to John Frank and Elizabeth (Kraiter) Pavlish. He was born and raised in Dickinson, ND, and after high school Jim entered the Army and spent 3 years in the service. He attended Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND and achieved his AA degree. He met his wife Joan at college and they married in 1959. They shared 56 wonderful years together. They lived in Fargo until 1961 when they moved to Los Angeles, CA. They resided there until 1970 and returned to Fargo to raise their family. In 2005, they moved to Spokane to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Jim retired from the United States Postal Service with 33 years of service. While working at the post office, Jim was in charge of printing their newsletter. Jim enjoyed golfing, bowling, and the great outdoors. Jim loved children and volunteered his time with grade school children. He loved sports and coached little league baseball. Music was also a big part of Jim?s life. He will be greatly missed! Jim is preceded in death by his wife Joan and his daughter Kathryn Hansen. He is survived by his sons Randy and Keldon (Marianne) of Spokane, sisters Betty Ann Fridley of Watford City, ND and Kathy Konkel of Virginia Beach, VA, grandchildren Bryanna, Joshua, Austin, Alicia and Kyara. Viewing will be held Thursday, April 30 from 1:00 ? 5:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 1 at 1:00 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley.
