James Robert "Bob" Plyler Obituary (Age 83) Bob passed away on December 12, 2015 in Spokane, WA. He was born on January 17, 1932 in Rock Hill, SC to Baxter and Flora Plyler. He lived in Charlotte, NC until he was 18 and joined the United States Air Force. He then met and married Arlene in Spokane. Bob worked at Kaiser Mead until 1994, retiring after nearly 40 years. He also owned his own drywall business and was in a partnership for thoroughbreds at Playfair. Bob was a sports fan who loved to watch football, specifically the Seattle Seahawks. He loved to travel with friends and family on road trips and cruises as well as working outdoors in his yard and tending to his flowers and tomato plants. Bob was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses on 2824 N Lee St, Spokane, WA. Bob is survived by his three daughters Sandra (Roger) Sorlien, Barbara (Ben) King and Linda Plyler; three granddaughters Brenda (Mike) Dillon, Bonnie King and Ashley Ibrahim; two great-grandchildren Jack and Adele and one on the way Isaac; two sisters Peggy Jo and Mary and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene, parents Baxter and Flora, 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 10 am ? 5 pm and on Friday, December 18 from 8 am ? 9 am at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 9 am on Friday, December 18 at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at 10 am at Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer?s Foundation at www.alz.org.
