Jane Frances Nyberg Obituary (Age 71) Passed away October 2, 2017 in Spokane. She was born in Bremerton, WA to Gordon and Helen Balch. The family moved to Chelan, WA in where they owned and operated a bowling alley. After graduation Jane moved to Spokane where she worked in a finance company. She met Bob Nyberg, fell in love and they married on July 25, 1970. The couple raised five children: Gordon, Gregg, Grant, Sarah and Garrett. Jane was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served many callings such as Compassionate Service Leader, den mother, the geneology library and especially enjoyed serving as a gospel instructor at the Airway Heights Prison for over six years. She was always willing to help others, whether friend, family or complete stranger. Her interests included feeding and befriending the neighborhood cats, geneology, spirituality, sudoku puzzles, baking and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved the people around her and they in turn shared her love and laughter. We will forever miss her loving nature, easy sense of humor and warm embrace. She is survived by her husband Bob; five children Gordon, Gregg, Grant, Sarah and Garrett; grandchildren Kiera, Salliena, Riley, Joseph, Hadley and Naomi. She was preceded in death by her sister Judy Nelson of Kennewick, WA. Funeral Service 11am Monday October 9, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1620 E. 29th.
