Janet Arlene Holbrook Obituary Janet Arlene Holbrook, age 76, passed away in Spokane on February 23, 2012. She was born in Colfax, WA on February 7, 1936 to John and Marie Gerlitz. Janet graduated from Colfax High School, and then attended Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper for PCA until her retirement. Janet was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church of Spokane. She is survived by her son, Michael Joseph Holbrook of Spokane, WA; two sisters, Esther Helt of Endicott, WA and Velma Jean Kita of Spokane, WA; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her brothers Will Gerlitz, Howard Gerlitz, Floyd Gerlitz, and her sister Miriam Burrell. A time of visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 12 pm to 7 pm. A funeral service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on February 29, 2012 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Endicott Cemetery at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Plymouth Congregational Church of Spokane or the Endicott Cemetery.
