Janet Elaine (Worthington) Ziegler Obituary Janet Elaine (Worthington) Ziegler died at the Hospice House South on December 30, 2014 in Spokane, WA at the age of 83. Janet is survived by her husband, Gerald (Jerry) E. Ziegler and her children Paul E. Ziegler and Deborah E. Reese. She had enjoyed multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Earl Worthington, Don Worthington and Rex Worthington and most recently her sister Eleanor (Worthington) Edstrom. Janet was born on December 24, 1931 in Spokane, WA to Nicholas and Beulah (Brown) Worthington. She graduated from North Central High School in Spokane WA in 1950. She married Jerry Ziegler on October 7, 1950 and resided in Spokane. She enjoyed camping, shopping and playing games with family and friends. She prided herself in being a good wife and mother. She had a lively sense of humor and is known for her quick wit and feisty attitude. She was well loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday January 17, 2015 at 2:00pm at Spokane Valley Nazarene Church with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Janet?s life.
