Janice Ann Utt Obituary Janice Ann Utt died unexpectedly at home on August 2, 2015 in Spokane, WA at the age of 77. Janice was born on January 25, 1938, in Trail B.C. Canada, to parents Stevens and Ruth Ann Parker. She graduated from J. Lloyd Crowe high school and worked at Cominco LTD where she met Walt. They were married in Trail on October 15, 1960 and began their life together in Spokane. They settled in North Spokane where they lived since 1963. She worked at Comerco, where she retired in 1988. Janice will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 55 years, Walt; her four sons Ken (Bridgette), Steve (Stephanie), Jeff (Amy), and Russ (Kendra); her grandchildren Adam (Melinda), Haylee, Austin, Korynn, Michael and Parker; and younger sister Linda (Don) Daloise of Cranbrook B.C. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Lincoln Walter. Mom treasured spending time with her family. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed sharing her bounty with friends and family. She was an avid gardener and loved attracting birds to her gardens. She also enjoyed camping and bowling and watching the Zags and Mariners. She had developed a newfound love of cruising in the Caribbean. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 10, at 2:00 at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way and followed by a gathering of friends and family at their north Spokane home. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to ARC of Spokane, 320 E 2nd Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202.
