Jean Lois Jackson Obituary Jean Jackson was born on April 29, 1926 in Ione, WA to Ray and Mame Rickard. She attended school in Metalline Falls, WA. Jean moved to Spokane for her senior year in 1944, where she graduated from Lewis & Clark High School. After attending Washington State College for one year, she married Walt Jackson in October, 1947. After Walt was called back into the Navy in 1950, they were stationed in Point McGu, California where Jean also worked at Bank of America. Walt and Jean moved to Spokane in October, 1951, where Walt resumed employment with Standard Oil of California. Jean and Walt moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1956, where they lived ever since. Their son Steve was born in 1956. Jean was a very good athlete, and loved golf, softball, tennis, and bowling. Jean worked for Idaho First National Bank in 1958 and worked for Clark's Jewelry from 1971-1986. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Walt, leaving her son Steve, his wife Laurie, niece Linda Woerner, and nephews Mark and Gary Jackson. Jean is a member of First Presbyterian Church of 521 Lakeside Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Jean will always be remembered for her great smile, cheerfulness, positive attitude, as well as her extreme devotion to her husband and son. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 521 E.
