Jean R. Jay Obituary (Age 83) Jean passed away on August 23, 2010 in Spokane, WA. She was born on November 7, 1926 in Brookfield, MO to Charles and Alice Rose of Salina, KS. Amos and Jean were co-owners of Jay's Music Company in Cheyenne, WY for 27 years. For the last seven years Jean has resided in Spokane, WA with her son Larry and his wife Maggie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Amos William Jay Jr. Jean is survived by her son Larry Jay and his wife Maggie, as well as Larry's children Britten Jay of Spokane, and Forrest Jay of Royal Palm, FL and Maggie's children Michael Menzel of Bozeman, MT, Tyler Menzel of Hamilton, MT, Anthony Harris of Dillon, MT and a sister Charlene Milard of Montgomery, AL. A service will be held on September 14, 2010 at 1:00PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Park, 1920 E. Crawford St., Salina, KS 67401. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane Hospice House 367 E. 7th, Spokane, WA 99202.
