Prior to graduation, she met her future husband at a USO Club in Corvallis, Oregon where Bob was recovering from injuries sustained on Iwo Jima. Mom and dad were married 6 months later. Mom spent the first part of her married life raising five kids and as the kids got older, decided it was time to go back to work. She spent much of her days teaching and perfecting her china painting in Spokane, Jeanne will be missed by many, especially her children. We wish to thank the Spokane Veterans Home for the wonderful care they gave Jeanne the past 3 years. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery at 5:00pm, Monday, June 6, 2016.
