Jeanne Grothe Obituary Our loving mother Jeanne Grothe, 87, passed away peacefully November 14, 2010. She was born in Spokane, WA on April 27, 1923 to Victor E. and Louise H. Linden. As a 1941 graduate of North Central High School she went on to work for the Crescent and also at the Air Depot at Geiger Field during WWII. Following the war she met and married Richard Grothe. They wed on April 24, 1946 and were married for 61 years before her beloved Richard passed away on February 27, 2008. She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and her hobbies included crocheting, quilting, and word puzzles. All of her years were spent as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very caring and touched the lives of everyone she met and will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by her six children Russ Grothe (Linda), Spokane, WA, Jan Qureshi (Faiz), Everett, WA, Dave Grothe (Linda), Pacific, WA, Gary Grothe, Spokane, WA, Brian Grothe (Jan), Spokane, WA and Jean Gaunt, Spokane, WA, as well as her brother Vic B. Linden and wife Ruth, Spokane, WA and sister Jan Grosso, Port Orchard, WA. She has 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard and grandson, Kelly Grothe. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM Thursday, November 18th, and 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM Friday, November 19th. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, November 19th at Heritage Funeral Home with a Graveside Service to follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
