Jenette Faye Miller

June 02, 1949 - January 07, 2016

Jenette Faye Miller Obituary (Age 66) She was born on June 2, 1949, in Sheboygan Wisconsin to Josephine Marie Ellarson (Voskuil), and John Francis Ellarson. She passed away early in the morning of January 7, 2016, at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane with her husband Mark and son Jeff at her side. Jen, or Jenny as she was often called, grew up in the small town of Cedar Grove, WI., along with her younger brother William Reed (Bill) Ellarson of Jacksonville, Fl. Jen graduated from High School in Cedar Grove, and attended Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. In 1968 Jen met her first husband to be, Patrick Doolin, in Sheboygan, WI. while he was stationed there in the United States Coast Guard. In 1969 Jen gave birth to her first son Christopher Jon Doolin of Everett, WA. In 1970 the family moved to Eugene, OR, then to Chehalis, WA, then finally to Centralia, WA. where they settled. In March of 1973 Jen gave birth to her second son Jeffrey Francis Doolin, giving her first son Christopher a brother. In 1977 Jen graduated from nursing school at Centralia Community College. She worked in Centralia as a nurse for several years. The family were members of Mountain View Baptist Church in Centralia where they made many good friends and memories. In 1982 the family moved to Colville, WA to pursue new work and a more rural lifestyle. Many new friends and good memories were made in Colville. In 1988 Jen and husband Pat divorced, and later on Jen met her second husband to be, Mark A. Miller of Spokane, WA. Jen and Mark lived in Colville briefly before moving to Spokane. Mark and Jen were married in Coeur D' Alene, ID. in 1992. Jen was a well-respected and loved employee of Spokane Ear Nose and Throat Clinic for well over 2 decades. She was a nurse of the highest caliber and positively impacted the lives of countless patients over the years. Jen was a lover of the outdoors, exploring, and local history and on weekends she and husband Mark could often be found metal detecting, exploring historical sites and abandoned towns, going to estate sales, and especially, riding scooters. Including road trips to the San Juan Islands and all over the Inland Northwest and Idaho. Jen absolutely loved hitting the open road on her scooter with husband Mark and going wherever the road may lead. She was a true biker at heart. She will be forever remembered for numerous things, most notably, for just making everything in life better no matter what. Always liking everyone regardless of their faults, making even the smallest events and occasions extra special, always seeing the good in everything and everyone and standing up for what was right and just. She was the best wife, the best Mother, and the best nurse that ever was. Jen always dreamed of retiring to a little farmhouse in the country, with chickens scratching in the yard, a garden to work in, and a nice porch to sit on in the evening to watch the sunsets. Though she is gone and desperately missed, we know her suffering in this world is come to pass, and she is in a wonderful place where she can exist pain and trouble free, and quite possibly, have that farmhouse with chickens in the yard and a front seat to eternal sunrises, and sunsets. We love you Mom, more than tongue can tell. Jen is survived by her husband Mark A. Miller of Spokane, WA., son Jeffrey F. Doolin of Spokane, Wa., son Christopher J Doolin of Everett, WA., mother Josephine M. Ellarson, of Sheboygan Falls, WI., brother William R. (Bill) Ellarson and sister in law Ann Ellarson of Jacksonville, Fl., niece Riann Boyd and family of Jacksonville, Fl., and many other extended family members and friends too numerous to list. There will be no service at this time. However a memorial celebration will be held this summer at a date to be determined by the family. Donations may be made to any charity of your choice. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Jenette, please visit our Tree Store. Read more Events JAN 7
