Jennie Augusta Conrath Obituary (Age 95) Passed away peacefully February 6, 2012 at home. She was born June 3, 1916 in Spokane to Francisco and Stella DeLuca. She attended Lewis & Clark High School and married Walter C. Conrath in 1950 in C'da, ID. Jennie managed the popcorn stand outside the Orphiem Theater through much of the Depression, she was known to the children as "The Popcorn Queen". She resided in Spokane her entire life, much of it as a homemaker; loved her dogs, flowers and loved to read. She is survived by her son Greg L. Conrath; three grandchildren Amber, Josh and Beau Conrath; two great grandchildren Blayke Styles Conrath (nine) and Breyona Chantel Conrath (five) all of Spokane. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, brother Louie DeLuca and sister Clara DeLuca. Memorial Service 1-3PM Sunday February 19, 2012 at Gretna Green Chapel, 1403 N. Washington (doors open at noon).
