Joan Nadean Kjose Obituary Passed away at her home on September 20, 2010 with her daughters and best friend Char and their beloved dog Louie at her side. Joan was a beloved daughter, wife, mother and Nana. Joan was preceded in death by her mother Mildred, father Elwood and brother Daryl. She is survived by her husband Richard, children Teresa, Tammi, Cindy and Susan and 12 incredible grandchildren. Joan grew up on a farm in Latah and moved to Spokane after high school. She attended Whitworth College and Sacred Heart Nursing School. She worked in surgery at Sacred Heart Hospital for 15 years and Mountain View Hospital for 14 years. Her greatest joys in life were her four daughters who gave her 12 amazing grandchildren. She most enjoyed traveling and shopping to find the best deals in town. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 23 at 4:00 PM at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, 4102 S. Crestline Street, Spokane, WA. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hamblen Park or the American Lung Cancer Association.
