Jody Lee Schierman Obituary (Age 67) Jody L. Schierman passed away May 12, 2017 in Post Falls, ID at North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital. Jody was born April 5, 1950 in Spokane, WA to Alvin R. and Phyllis L. Schierman. She was a miracle from birth, born three months premature. She was adopted at birth by two loving parents and grew up in Saint John, WA. Ever a farmers daughter, she loved the land. She loved horses and had a deep connection to the rural way of life. She graduated from Eastern Washington State College (now EWU) with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She moved to the West side of the state and worked in Olympia for DSHS, where she enjoyed taking clients on camping trips, to sporting events, carnivals, etc. She then returned to Spokane to start a family. Jody was a member of the NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) and Victory Faith Fellowship Church. Jody is survived by her sons, Joshua and Aaron Eisenman of Spokane, WA. Viewing will be held from 10am-5pm on Wednesday, May 24th at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 25th at 12:30pm at Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
