Joe A. Williams, CMSGT (Retired) Obituary (Age 93) On August 28, 2017, our Dad passed away peacefully at home at the age of 93. He was born in Crosbyton, TX to Marion and Edna (Catt) Williams on April 24, 1924. He grew up in Sulphur, OK where he met his wife of 70 years, Frances Trammell. Our Dad was a 23 year U.S.A.F. veteran who was active during WW II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing the most. He is survived by his wife; daughters: Sandra (Carl) Nuechterlein, Debbie Charloe, Linda (Tom) Hulett, and Pam (John) Rigg; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Ermalea Lazarus. He is also survived by two good friends, Ray D'Amico and Paul Moore. Eight of Dad's siblings preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on September 15, 2017 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery. Dad, "We will carry you in our hearts forever! We love you and will miss you."
