John Cook Obituary John J. Cook, 86, of Spokane Valley, WA passed away on July 29, 2022. John was born on November 18, 1935, in Ligonier, IN, to parents John C. Cook and Frances L. Musser. He graduated from Jenkins High School in Chewelah, WA in May of 1955. John enjoyed electronics, woodworking, drafting/drawing, traveling and was a gun enthusiast. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind, good hearted person. John served in the National Guard as a Sergeant E5 and Rifle Marksman from 1954 to1959. He then served in the Army Reserves from 1959 to 1962. John was a member of the Wilford Odd Fellow Lodge #269 in Spokane, WA. John is survived by his children; daughter Tammy Cook of Spokane, WA, son Johnny Cook of Kansas City, MO, daughter Machelle Lopez of Blue Mound, TX, and stepdaughter Kolleen Queener of Walford, IA; his sister Mary Jane Hart of Spokane, WA; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 25 years Eleanor �Kelly�; his parents John and Frances Cook; his brother Henry Cook; and his sister Barbara Dashiell.
