John Michael Leding Obituary John Leding, who retired as a mine superintendent inRepublic, WA and made his home in Spokane afterretiring with his beloved wife, Annette, has passed away. Services will take place at Heritage Funeral Home inSpokane at 2:00 p.m. on July 20, 2009. John was born to Fannie and Mike Leding in Arkansas. After serving in the Army, he made his way to Butte, MT where his parents and siblings followed. He also worked for Ranchers Exploration in New Mexico. He finished his distinguished mining career as a mine superintendent for Hecla Mining in Cedar City, UT, and Republic, WA. He and Annette married in 1990 bringing together their families; John's two and her four children. Combined, they enjoyed 13 grandchildren. John loved golf, driving trips, reading, and he and Annette's pets, current events and his grandchildren brought him enormous joy. John is remembered by friends and family with a simple compliment - he was a good man. In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, John is survived by his mother, Fannie of Butte, MT; brothers Jerry and Bob of Spokane; and six other siblings. After retiring, John was an active volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent there in his honor.
