Jonathan Jerome Mack Obituary Jonathan Jerome Mack Sunrise: November 6, 1951 Sunset: August 16, 2023 Jonathan was the 4th of 7 children born to Jeremiah and Estelle, in Philadelphia, Penn. He joined the United States Air Force in 1970, 2 years after graduating from Benjamin Franklin High high school. Jonathan served two tours in Vietnam and received numerous awards; including the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with Five Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal; The Vietnam Service Medal with Six Service Stars and the Air Force Overseas Long and Short Tour Ribbon with one Oak Leaf Cluster. Jonathan traveled extensively while serving his country. He met and Married Kay while stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas and the union produced 4 children. After a 4-year stint at RAFB Bentwaters, England, the family was assigned to Fairchild AFB, WA, where they became members of Holy Temple COGIC, in Spokane, WA. Jonathan accepted his calling into the ministry and received his ordination. He remained steadfast in his faith and love for the Lord. Jonathan retired from the USAF in 1990 and from the Department of Defense in 2012. Jonathan is a graduate of Spokane Falls Community College with degrees in Electronic Graphics and Publishing and Photography. One of his photographs entitled "Dreams of Other Times" was chosen as Editor�s Choice and published in the National Library of Photography. Jonathan is survived by his wife, Kay, and daughters: Taya (Lemar), Torri and Ty of Ga; 1 son, Jon of Spokane, one grandson, Dominic and one granddaughter, Jaxen; two sisters, Geraldine and Cecile of Philadelphia, one brother, Jeremiah (Doris) of Maryland and numerous nieces and nephews. Jonathan is proceeded in death by his parents; Jeremiah and Estelle, sister, Dianne; brother, Charles; 2 older sons, Andre and Terrance and his youngest daughter, Brianna. All are welcome to attend the service on September 1st at 11:15am, at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA.
