Josiah Lee Forbes Obituary Babies are Angels that fly to the earth, their wings disappear at the time of their birth. One look in their eyes and we are never the same, it's a little one we created and gave a name. Little eyes open, an everlasting bond, as we hold her while she slips into the beyond. A bond we now have that will never sever, as our Baby is now an Angel that we will love forever. Mark 10:14-15 Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Verse 16 goes on to say: And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. As we stand here this day, I have every confidence that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The same Jesus who took little children in his arms and blessed them on this earth, has received Josiah Lee Forbes in his arms, and has blessed him, welcoming him personally into heaven. Josiah Lee Forbes was granted his angel wings on June 28, 2016, following a lifelong illness. Josiah had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Josiahs life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. Although Josiahs illness made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He could spend hours in our arms while cuddling into those he loved so much. He enjoyed music, sleeping close in His mothers arms, listening to the tone of others speaking softly around him, especially laughter which would make him smile. He loved to play and to be tickled, which his DAD will always remember those beautiful sounds of his giggles. With Josiahs passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smile and His constant chewing tongue. He will forever remain in our hearts. Through his teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his parents.
