Joy Dahlen Obituary (Age 87) Passed away on November 9, 2009 in Spokane, WA. She was born on September 20, 1922 in Spokane, WA to Lewis and Sylvia Robie. She had extensive involvement in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1435. She liked bowling, playing pinochle at the grange, needlepoint, and cross-stitching. Joy loved spending a leisurely summer with the family at the cabin on Newman Lake. She is preceded in death by her daughter Michele Schlosser. She is survived by her husband Thomas; children Jerrine Monaghan, Tom Dahlen, Cherrie Wilkens, John Dahlen, Debbie Miller, Shirley Boujikian; brothers-in-law Richard (Donna) Dahlen and Harold Pederson; sisters-in-law Judy (Dennis) Schwab and Joyce Dahlen; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Park.
