Joyce H. Griswold Obituary (Age 97) Joyce entered into rest with the Lord on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Riverview Care Center in Spokane, WA. Joyce was born March 13, 1914 in Marshall, ND. Her beloved husband, Guy Griswold passed away in 2004. She is survived by her loving daughters, Roberta (Floyd) Andrew of Spokane, Faye (Jim) Atwood of Kirkland, four grandchildren Michael, Sheryl, James Tyrone, and seven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Kyle, Grace, Ally, Sasha, Emily, and Jared. Joyce graduated from Dickinson State Teachers College and Eastern Washington College. She taught students in Dodge and in Spokane and was a school librarian until she retired from Spokane Public Schools. She was also a 50 year honoree in PEO and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00PM Friday, February 10th at Fairmount Memorial Park with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00PM at Riverview Care Center, 1841 E Upriver Dr. Spokane, WA 99207.
