Joyce I. Wilson Obituary (Age 82) Joyce Irene Wilson was born September 27, 1928 in Maidstone, Alberta to Vera and Adonis Mainville who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her sister Shirley and niece Kathy Kawsuniak; brothers Adonis, Laverne ?Bernie?, Norvall ?Buddy?, and Louis Mainville. She is survived by her oldest sister Marie Miller of New Westminister, B.C.; son Harry (Kristi) Wilson of Spokane, and daughters Dorothy (Mark) Wellsandt of Spokane, and Teri Wilson of Ketchikan, AK; grandchildren Zac, Greg, Danielle, Laurie and Amy, plus 3 great-grandchildren. Compassionate friends and family held a vigil until late into the night of January 14th. Joyce passed away early in the morning of January 15th, with Harry and Dorothy asleep by her bedside. The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Sacred Heart for helping us so much as we went through the ordeal of Mom?s passing. We would also like to give an especially warm thank you to Dr. Clinton Hauxwell for the exceptional care of our mother over the years. Mom always perked up when she went in for a visit. To his credit, no matter what mood we came in, Mom and I never left his office without sharing a laugh about Mom?s decidedly pointed view of the world. I know he actually cared for and about her. The family also wants to acknowledge the everlasting friendships of Tom and Alma Stapleton, Joanne Deife, Jan and John Stanley, and Sheryl and Dan Gro
