Joyce S. Fielding Obituary (Age 86) Joyce Fielding went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2017. She was born in Spokane on August 20, 1931 to Stanley and Natalie Nettie Scholfield. Joyce attended Grant Elementary School, Lewis and Clark High School, and graduated from WSU as a Tri Delta with a fine arts degree. She married Lamar Fielding on June 26, 1954.She lived in Germany for two years while her husband was stationed in Kaiserslauter. They returned to the states where Joyce taught sewing for 2 years at Singers on Riverside and Lincoln. She started her family and became a stay-at-home wife and mother. Joyces first priority was her family. Joyce enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and painting, but she loved her husband, children and grandchildren the most. Her favorite time of all was Christmas time with family and friends. Joyce was attending the South Hill Bible Church. She also served on the missionary committee at Grace Baptist Church. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Natalie Scholfield, sister Lillian McCallum, and brother-in-law Jack Mac McCallum. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Lamar Fielding, son Mark Fielding (Mary Kay) of Spokane, daughter Gayle Fielding (Darren) of Spokane, 4 grandchildren: Lindsay Fielding of Lubbock, Texas, Cody Fielding (Christi) of Frisco, Texas, Sam Gillming and Tawine Gillming. In addition, Joyce is survived by her brother Leslie Bud Scholfield, Margery Scholfield, and 6 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2017 from 11:00AM 5:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 S. Cheney Spokane, Rd. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00AM.
