Juanita "Nita" (Crawford) Cave Obituary Our mother went into the arms of her savior on December 1, 2014 in Spokane in the presence of her loving family. Nita was 95 years old. Born premature at home in Wallowa, OR she was placed in a shoebox in the oven of a wood stove and survived. She was given coffee as a stimulant and coffee was her forever favorite drink. Nita married Carl Cave in 1942. They owned Stevenson Tire Company at Sprague and Browne in Spokane. She had three daughters, Karol Jean Kaye, Judy (Mick) McGruder, Linda (John) Martin, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Nita was preceded in death by seven siblings, her husband and two grandchildren. We?ve always known you were very special. We look back at your life in awe and astonishment. You rarely lost your temper, always had a smile on your face and loved us unconditionally. We have more respect for you than we can put into words. You have been our inspiration. You made us who we are today. You were always there for us. We thank the Lord for giving you 95 wonderful happy years. You will always be in our hearts. Love, your family. Donations may be made in Nita?s name to the Union Gospel Mission or the Spokesman Review Christmas Fund. A memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on December 12, 2014 at 3 pm.
