April 23rd, 1945 - September 21st, 2026

Our Mom, Judith A. Reidt, passed away Sept 21, 2026 at age 81.

Judy was quiet and had a strong inner strength. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mom lived her Christian belief in everyday life and in volunteer work.

She made quilts, needlepointing, bookmarks and loved gardening. She was a helper and did volunteer work through the church making hats and lunches for the homeless.

Judy was the third of seven daughters to Estel “Mike” and Pearl Reidt. Her childhood was split between Denison and Newport. Mom was married 19 years. A military wife and mother to five children, she moved her young family several times from base to base. She kept everything running when her husband was deployed.

Judy entered the workforce and went back to school taking business classes. She worked at Miles Laboratories many years and retired from there. While working our Mom had us in Camp Fire Girls, Cub Scouts, baseball, school band and swimming lessons. Mom was in a bowling league.

We miss her dearly and she will stay in our hearts.

She is survived by her children Cheryl, Brenda, Michele, Michael and Rebecca. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Mike and Pearl Reidt, five sisters, and one grandson.

She is laid to rest at Fairmount Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Seventh Day Adventist Church Deer Park, Hospice House South or Meals on Wheels.
