Julia Nicol Kunkel Obituary (Age 21) Julia, of Spokane, passed away unexpectedly November 1, 2011 at home. She was born May 31, 1990 in Lima, Peru. She was adopted as a baby by parents Daniel and Mary Kunkel. After five years in Ohio, they moved to Spokane. Julia graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 2008 and was a student at Eastern. She was an avid snowboarder and photographer. Julia is survived by her parents; brother and sister, Ryan and Rose Kunkel both of Spokane; grandparents, Irene Kunkel and Dorothy Brajcich and many cousins. Visitation will be Friday November 4th, 10-5pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 5th at 10 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 330 E. Boone Ave., Spokane.
