Julie Heather Williamson Obituary (Age 37) Julie passed away on July 12, 2014. She was born on August 31, 1976 in Spokane to Thomas G. and Denise L. Williamson. Julie was a lifetime resident of Spokane. She attended East Valley High School and graduated from Spokane Continuation School. Julie was the 1987 Washington State Muscular Dystrophy poster child and she worked on the Developmental Disability Counsel from 1995 to 2005. She really enjoyed science fiction movies and books. Julie had a passion for writing and was the author of a poem printed in a national publication as well as several publications in the local newspaper. She also ran the website Horror Lit for several years. Julie was preceded in death by her father Thomas G. Williamson, her grandparents Erv and Flavia Kuebler and Harvey and Alice Williamson, her uncle William "Brucy" Chambers and her aunt Flavia Nave. She is survived by her mother Denise Williamson of Spokane; her very special and longtime companion Emery D. Purdy III; her sister Jennifer and husband Damon Weaser; and nephews Greyson T. Williamson, Joseph A. Weaser as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Julie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
