Karen L. Johnson Obituary (Age 67) Passed away peacefully at her home in Cheney, WA on July 4, 2010. She was born on September 13, 1942 in Ellensburg, WA to James & Ruth McClure and was one of six siblings. She is survived by her brother Jim McClure and sisters Colleen Calkins, Laurie McClure and Barbara Wall. Her sister Virginia Nicks preceded her in death. Karen married and had three children; Todd Johnson, Trisha McClure and Shawn Johnson. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Nikki, Krissy, Sydney and Jonathan. Karen completed her college education earning her Master?s Degree and she worked as a counselor at Family Service Spokane until her retirement. Karen enjoyed playing at Priest Lake, walking, biking, and spending time with family & friends as well as her quiet time in the country at her home. A celebration of her life will be on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home.
