Katherine E. Bade Obituary (Age 84) Funeral services for Katherine E. Bade will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 3, at Salem Lutheran Church, 1428 W. Broadway, Spokane, WA. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Ford, WA. Visitation will be Friday from 10-5 at Heritage Funeral Home, Spokane. Mrs. Bade was born in Oklahoma City and resided there until she met and married Carl Bade while he was serving in the US Navy in Oklahoma during WWII. Carl and Kathy were married 53 years until he passed away in 1998. Kathy and Carl Bade were married in 1944. They lived in Milton-Freewater until they moved to the Spokane, WA area in 1965. Kathy was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and served in many positions of work and leadership. Kathy is survived by five sons, Charles, Richard, Ronald, Michael and David in addition to a daughter Terri Johnson. Other family include Kathy's bother Jack Cook and sister Geraldine married to Carl's brother Loren 53 years ago. Katherine is preceded in death by six siblings as well as her parents.
